We hope you all managed to put your feet up and relax during the school holiday break for at least a little bit. We are excited to be back for the final term of 2020.
The classrooms look great. The children in Rooms 1 – 8 are definitely in for a nice surprise when they see their learning spaces in the morning.
Term four is also our sun hat term. Sunhats are a compulsory part of the school uniform in terms one and four just like the polo top etc. Children MUST have the school bucket hat for when they are outside.
The school will also have sunscreen available but it is recommended that children come to school with it already applied so that top ups are only needed throughout the day. If your child is allergic to sunscreen please ensure they have their own safe product named and in their bag for easy use. (fingers crossed we have the weather to need it all)
Wednesday evening we have our HERO parent evening to go through a few bits and pieces regarding this programme and its use at school.
Thursday morning we will be taking part in the nationwide Shake Out event. We will practice our Earthquake drill at 9:30 along with the rest of New Zealand.
Saturday is Voting day and then SUNDAY we have the PTA Run Ride Slide event. Be sure to register and get involved. Volunteers to help would also be appreciated. Acces link etc will be shared again tomorrow.
A reminder that we are having a teacher only day on Tuesday 27th October (the day after Labour Weekend).
Wishing you all a great first week back!
Nga mihi nui
