Reports will be sent home and Hero will be unlocked for viewing. An information sheet regarding what you can see on Hero will be in with your child’s report.

Te Anau = Blue, Hauroko = Red, Manapouri = Yellow and Wakatipu = Green

All Gingerbread House raffle cards and money are due back at school. (Thank you to the families who ahve already returned theirs – sold and unsold, it is all appreciated)

Wednesday 9th December

Year 6 Leavers Assembly starting at 1:30pm in the hall. All Year 6 students should be in full, clean, neat uniform for this formal assembly please.

Christmas Picnic 5:30 – 7:00pm. Bring a picnic tea, enjoy community company and some presentations by the students. We will have House songs, Jump Jam, Choir and Kapahaka for you to enjoy. There will be no food for sale this year but Mocha Rocker Coffee Cart will be here as will the Milkshake Van.

We hope to see you all there enjoying a lovely evening.

Thursday 10th December

The last day of school for 2020. Children are to wear uniform please. Year 6 students can wear mufti for the morning if they need to clean it for the second hand uniform sale.

School finishes at 12:30. All children will need to be collected to go home at 12:30 please. There is no Afterschool Care on Thursday.

Additional Bits and Pieces

We have a number of children handing out Christmas cards with treats attached – this is lovely and appreciated by their peers. We are asking children to please take any treats they are given home with them and to not eat them at school. This way you can monitor as per your family expectations what treats your children are eating.

Work on the school fencing will begin on 11th January. There will be safety fencing in various areas of the school prior to this work beginning.

We wish you all a fabulous final week of school for 2020.

On behalf of the Salford Team,

Sarah Gibbs
