Kia ora whanau,

Last week we had our first whanau hui for 2021 to discuss our commitment as a school to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and what this looks like at Salford School.

One of the actions that came from this hui was to establish a group to support with our Kapahaka ropu and to boost the understanding and mana of the ropu and kapahaka across the school. (Developing the knowledge, understanding and commitment to Kapahaka of the tamariki.)

We would like to have a meeting for anyone interested in supporting the kapahaka ropu in any way over the year and beyond. Mapping out ideas, songs, activities, practices, noho etc.

Please complete the form Kapahaka Ropu Hui Availability if you are interested in being involved in any way. (If this can be completed by the evening of Friday 2nd April it would be appreciated to confirm the day and time)

Nga mihi nui
